About Conveyors WA
Conveyors WA has been providing and servicing conveyors and Bulk Materials Handling throughout Western Australia since 1984. Conveyors WA caters for consultancy, manufacture, installation and commissioning of all types of conveyors. We also supply spare parts, upgrades and perform maintenance.
The founder,Gil, worked for a materials handling company for more than 30 years. In the final 15 years his employment was as Project Manager, which also comprised overseeing a “one-stop” workshop designing, manufacturing, installing and commissioning a variety of materials handling equipment, which included, but was not limited to, belt conveyors, bucket elevators, screw conveyors and chain conveyors.
The company also represented several eastern based manufacturers who supplied a variety of materials handling equipment. The workshop personnel installed and commissioned this equipment which included Lean Phase, Dense Phase and Vacuum Conveying, along with some specialised equipment, such as bulk bag filling and discharging, utilised in the field of Bulk Materials Handling.
At the time of departing the materials handling company in 2017, there were some ongoing projects which the proprietor informed Gil to take with him and see them through to their conclusion, as the materials handling company would no longer handle projects and the workshop was closed down.
Gil then opened the business of Conveyors WA to enable those projects to carry on through to commissioning. Other projects have arisen and Conveyors WA has carried out the process of quoting and has been in the position of being awarded several of these.
Conveyors WA employs a team of sub-contractors that aid in the design, manufacture, installation and commissioning of projects. These sub-contractors have a state-of-the-art workshop, a design engineer and are also heavily involved in the manufacture and installation of specialised equipment in the dairy, brewery and abattoirs industries.
